Matrix, product code 10000761, features a single-jersey knit structure and a fiber composition of 100% polyester. The fabric width is 172 ± 2 cm, fabric weight is 176 ± 10 g/m², meters per kilogram is 3.30 ± 0.15 m/kg, and thickness is 0.52 ± 0.03 mm. The fabric has low lengthwise stretch and high crosswise stretch. It does not contain elastane.
Main applications and potential uses for consideration:
Main Applications: Casual patterned T-shirts, relaxed-fit training shirts, lightweight blouses, long-sleeved T-shirts, loose-fit tank tops, loose-fit tops, and loungewear tops. Sufficient ease should be incorporated into the pattern due to the fabric’s low lengthwise stretch.
Fan apparel, teamwear panels, polo shirts with a suitable collar construction, non-protective uniforms, and event T-shirts. Other potential applications include loose-fit tunics, travel wear, relaxed-fit short dresses, matching top-and-shorts sets, lined lounge shorts, and sporty skirts, subject to evaluation of coverage and drape.
For close-fitting garments, assess whether the fabric provides sufficient stretch and recovery. This product code does not contain elastane and has low lengthwise stretch. Freedom of movement should be provided through pattern design; a grid-like appearance or high crosswise stretch alone does not guarantee suitability for fitted garments.
Other similar applications should be evaluated according to the specifications of this product code and the results of sample garment testing.
Compare this product code’s knit structure, fiber composition, fabric weight, and stretch properties with your sample and production requirements. For confirmation of suitability, consult the Newtex team regarding your intended application, printing, cutting, and sewing requirements.
